Umpiring can be extraordinarily rewarding for a number of reasons. As an umpire for Westfield Little League, you have the opportunity to serve the children and families in your community. For many former players and coaches, this is a great way to stay involved in our program.

Who can umpire?
- Our baseball and softball umpires range in age from 14 to adult.
- Prior baseball/softball participation is preferred, but not essential.
Umpire Training
Prior to the spring season, we offer both on-field and classroom training for new and experienced umpires. Classes are taught by our District Umpire-In-Chief, as well as local umpires.
Additional training resources are available on the Little League website.
When are games?
- Spring Season: April-June
- All Star Season: June-July
- Fall Ball: September-October
- Games are played every day
