Equipment Needs

Equipment

Families should purchase the following:

Baseball/Softball Glove
Baseball/Softball Bat (View Bat Information and Rules)
Baseball - Bats in Majors and below must have a USA stamp. Bats in Seniors must be BBCOR.
Batting Helmet
Baseball - Farm, Instructional and Rookie players must wear helmets with cages
Softball - All players must wear helmets with cages
Batting Gloves (if desired)
Backpack or equipment bag (if desired)

If you are in need of a helmet or bat, we can lend one out to you for the season.

Coaches are provided with a team bag that includes the following equipment:

Batting Helmets
Bats
Catcher’s gear (glove, shin guards, chest protector, ,mask with dangling throat guard)
Baseballs/Softballs for practices and games

Uniforms

The league provides all players with the following:

Game Jersey
Hat or Visor
Baseball/Softball Socks

Families should purchase the following:

Baseball - Plain grey baseball pants (no stripes)
Softball - Plain black softball pants (no stripes)
Belt (if desired)
Baseball/Softball Cleats (Recommended) - Must be rubber molded (Metal cleats are allowed in the Senior Baseball Division only)

Equipment Exchanges

We typically organize equipment exchanges during evaluations. Parents are encouraged to drop off and/or pick up gently used equipment in an effort to help each other.

Dick's Sporting Goods Discounts

Dick's Sporting Goods typically offers "Appreciation Days" for members of our league to purchase baseball/softball gear at 20% off. These events have traditionally taken place in March and September. We will announce the dates when they are known.
